Afterglow is a shared sky for the people we have lost. It is not finished, and the part that is not finished is the part you would be shaping. There is no password any more: access sits on your account, so you ask once and it is yours.
What you would be walking into
A sky with almost nobody in it
Early stars, most of them ours. It will feel quiet, because it is.
Rooms before there is a crowd
Eleven rooms by relationship. Being the first voice in one is a strange kind of generous.
Resources that are still being written
Words we needed grows out of what people add to it. Right now it is mostly waiting.
Things that will break
You will find them before we do. There is a place to say so, and it reaches a person.
Being honest about it
Memorials are free and stay lit. That is true in the beta and it will be true after it.
Nothing you write is sold, advertised against, or shown to anyone you did not choose.
If a feature you relied on changes, we will tell you before it does, not after.
You can ask us to delete everything, and it goes — including the copy in the backup.
